Our exploitation of chestnuts is distributed in different parts of the farm occupying an area of more than 400 hectares, with annual production around 450,000 kilos, all of the variety VERATA.

Our variety VERATA is perfectly adapted to the conditions edofoclimaticas in the area and is able to get the best taste of the terroir. The VERATA comes in varieties of chestnut longal group, is characterized by late-ripening in the month of November, in fact is one of the later varieties of the Iberian peninsula.

The chestnuts of the common are found in the sierra de las Villuercas, in Guadalupe, to the southeast of the province of Cáceres in the header of the Ibor River at an altitude of 800-1,000 meters above the sea level.
